To integrate Xirgo with Frontu, follow these steps
1. Request API access from your Xirgo manager
Contact your Xirgo (XGFleet) account manager and request a login and password that allow Frontu to read vehicle location information through their API.
The endpoint Frontu uses to pull real-time vehicle data is: https://api.xgfleet.lt/real-time
Make sure your Xirgo manager confirms that the credentials they share have access to this endpoint.
2. Add a Driver ID to each technician in Frontu
For Frontu to know which technician is driving which car, you have to add a Driver ID on each user card. The Driver ID has to be equal to the CAR name configured in Xirgo — this is how Frontu maps a vehicle from Xirgo to a Frontu user.
Open the Frontu dashboard and go to the Users section.
Open the technician you want to edit.
In the user card, fill in the Driver ID field with the CAR name as it appears in Xirgo.
Save the changes.
Repeat this step for every technician using a Xirgo-tracked vehicle. Without the Driver ID, Frontu cannot match the vehicle position to the correct user, and the technician will not appear next to their car on the map.
3. Share the credentials with Frontu
Once your Xirgo manager has provided the API login and password, and the Driver IDs are set on all technician cards, send the credentials to Frontu support.
Frontu will enable the integration on your account and verify that the vehicles appear correctly on the dashboard map.
