The Logs menu shows what Frontu sent or synced in the background. Use Email logs to check whether an email reached the recipient. Use Integration logs to see whether data from your connected systems, such as your ERP, was synced or failed.
Who can see logs
Administrators can always see logs. Logs are kept for 30 days. Older entries are deleted automatically.
Email logs
Email logs list every email Frontu sent from your account, such as job cards, notifications and password resets.
Where to find it
In the left menu, go to Integration logs > Email logs.
Use the filters to find an email by recipient, subject, date or status.
Email statuses
The Status column shows what happened to each email. Status updates usually appear within a minute.
Sent – Frontu sent the email. Delivery is not confirmed yet.
Delayed – the recipient's mail server is temporarily not accepting the email. Delivery will be retried.
Delivered – the email reached the recipient's mail server.
Opened – the recipient opened the email.
Bounced – the email could not be delivered, for example because the address does not exist. Hover the status to see the reason.
Rejected – the email was not sent.
Complained – the recipient marked the email as spam.
Opened column
The Opened column shows the date and time the email was first opened. If it was opened more than once, you also see how many times. Click an email to open its preview with the full content and all status details.
Have in mind that opens are detected only when the recipient's mail client loads images. If images are blocked, the email can stay Delivered even if it was read. Some mail apps can also report an open automatically.
If a customer says they did not receive a job card, check its status first. Bounced usually means the email address is wrong. Delivered means it reached their inbox, so ask them to check the spam folder.
Integration logs
Integration logs show the messages Frontu records while syncing with your connected systems, for example when work orders, clients, objects or materials are imported or sent back. Use them to find out why a record did not appear in Frontu or in your other system.
Where to find it
In the left menu, go to Integration logs > Integration logs. [
Use the filters to narrow the list, for example by date or level.
What you can see
Each entry shows when it happened, which record it relates to, the message and the level.
There are two levels:
Info – the sync step went through as expected.
Error – the sync failed. The message explains why, for example a missing or invalid value.
Message, Data and Action will show you more details, including the data that was received or sent.
Have in mind that if the same error repeats with identical data, Frontu updates the time of the existing entry instead of adding a new one. Check the date to see when it last happened.
What to do with an error
Filter the list by Error.
Open the entry and read the message.
Fix the data in the source system or in Frontu, for example add the missing code.
Run the sync again. On the Work orders, Clients or Objects list you can click Trigger sync, if it is turned on for your account.
You can also use AI help. Click green "How to solve this" button. Two sections are available: what happened and how to fix it. Read it carefully and apply changes.
When you contact Frontu support about an integration problem, include the date and the message from the Integration log. It helps us find the issue faster.
