Device list and basic requirements for Frontu users.

Frontu provides a Mobile App for technicians to streamline their work order completion process, while administrators can leverage the Web App for efficient work management, work order creation, and progress monitoring. This article will delve into the device requirements, supported devices, and known errors associated with different devices.

Mobile App devices requirements

Frontu application is designed to be mobile phone and tablet friendly, Supported devices should have:

  • Android version of 5.0 or higher;

  • Recommended screen size 5 inches;

  • Recommended processor speed is at least 2 GHz, with an additional recommendation of 1.1 GHz for graphics processors (GPU) if present;

  • A minimum of 4 GB RAM is required for efficient data processing;

  • At least 8 GB of storage is necessary to accommodate files, photos, database records, and Frontu application.

We always recommend to use devices from our partner Samsung. Especially XCover and Galaxy Tab Active series, which provides main two aspects - performance and durability for your technicians.

Web App devices requirements

Frontu ensures proper functionality across desktop and laptop computers. The Web App is fully compatible with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 9+ browsers. However, it is advised to use PC computers instead of mobile devices like phones or tablets, as the web interface may not display correctly on smaller screens.

Known Errors:

Some known issues have been reported with certain devices and Android versions.
