Accessing Custom Fields

The Properties tab becomes visible when there are custom fields associated with a work order. By navigating to this tab, users gain access to a comprehensive list of all custom fields. The required custom fields are conveniently positioned at the top of the list. It's worth noting that if at least one required custom field exists, the entire tab will be labeled as "Mandatory tab," emphasizing the need to provide the necessary information.

Editing Custom Field Properties

To make changes to the custom field properties, users can click the "Edit properties" button, which opens the edit screen. Depending on the type of custom field, users can select options from dropdown menus or enter dates, text, or any other relevant information. Once the required corrections have been made, users can simply click the "Save" button to store the updated data.

Viewing Saved Information

The Properties tab serves as a central repository for all saved custom field information. Any data that has been entered or edited will be visible within this tab, allowing users to review and reference the details as needed.

It is important to note that filling out the required custom fields is crucial for the completion of a work order. If any mandatory custom fields are left unfilled, users will be unable to mark the work order as complete. This ensures that all essential information is captured and no critical details are overlooked, promoting efficient and accurate work order management.
