The Voice-to-Text feature allows users to convert spoken language into written text in real time. By using advanced voice recognition technology, it captures audio input through a microphone and automatically transcribes the words into accurate, readable text. This feature supports multiple languages making it accessible for diverse users.
From now on, you can add descriptions way faster than it was before. The user can easily and quickly add a description using his voice, especially for longer, detailed inputs.
You can use Voice to text to describe:
Work order
Request
Periodic work order
Work order template
Job
Holiday
Agreement/disagreement texts for work order type
Additonal email addresses
Customer/contact person/object remark
When starting to use this feature for the first time, system will initiate collecting consent in browser to use microphone. You will see this message and will need to allow using a microphone.
When the permission is granted, user can easily start using the Voice-to-Text feature. Open any form you need and fill the description using your voice.
The green microphone icon will identify that you have to click start for recording to be started.
When you are in the process of dictating the text, you will see the icon getting red. The button identifies that if you want to stop a description, you should click on it one more time.
When you are done talking, click the button again. The transcription will appear in the "Description" text area in real-time. Have in mind, that if you do not click it but go silent, after 5 seconds the transript is saved automatically.
Administrator/customer can always edit the transcripted text, add more info by typing or by starting to talk again by using the microphone icon.
