What's New: Q4, 2025

Newest Features/Improvements available in Frontu.

Updated this week

Q4 brought a big set of improvements across both the web platform and mobile app, with a strong focus on permissions, customization, documents, languages, and usability.

🚀 New Features & Enhancements

Frontu’s Voice-to-Text feature is now more reliable across web and mobile. You can dictate remarks and material descriptions directly into the system. The mobile app now detects microphone availability, ensuring your voice input works every time without errors. This speeds up data entry and reduces manual typing.

Frontu is now available in even more languages:

  • Armenian

  • Icelandic

  • Afrikaans

This helps teams work more comfortably in their native language, both on web and mobile.

You can now customize work order numeration and PDF filenames to match your internal standards. Warranty dates and questionnaire timestamps can be displayed in PDF acts, making reports more accurate. This helps teams maintain consistent documentation and easily share detailed records with clients.

Q4 introduces more granular permissions. Admins can now:

The calendar now shows a default start time of 08:00, and weekends are highlighted in grey. Archived unassigned work orders and drafts are now hidden, and scheduling is easier. This gives a clearer view of planned work and prevents scheduling conflicts.

📊 Indicator Add-On Improvements

The Indicator Add-On now offers more flexibility and clearer guidance for tracking and reporting. If an indicator value is too high, the system displays a warning in both the web and mobile apps, helping users spot potential issues immediately. Lower indicator values can also be recorded when needed, ensuring accurate reporting across all scenarios.

New Compliance beta add-on, designed to prioritize technician safety the moment a job begins. This enhancement allows managers to trigger mandatory security checklists immediately upon work order initiation. By integrating these forms directly into the mobile workflow, teams can ensure that technicians address critical safety and security questions before executing their tasks.
