Internal notifications

Settings part generated for internal notifications such as Frontu activity report, additional messages and chat notifications.

Internal notifications includes three parts that are visible in the picture.

Additional messages

  • "Inform colleagues (Partners) about new work order with email" - when "YES" selected, work order helper will receive email with work order information. The user will be informed by email when a work order with him as a helper created.

  • "Additional recipients for a new request e-mail notification" - fill when you need to inform more people about new registered client requests.

Frontu activity report


To manage these settings you would need to click Settings -> Email report settings.Frontu activity report - this is a summary of the activity report for the selected period: weekly or monthly - with visual information:

  • "Send to staff" - reports are sent to employee emails, that was entered at the time of their registration;

  • "Send to managers" - reports are sent to managers whose emails are listed in the "Managers emails" field;

  • "Frequency to send staff/managers reports" - select how often you want to get reports.

Chat notifications

If you want to try this feature, at first you have to set up the settings correctly. You can find them in the settings, "Chat notifications" part.

There are three different chat notifications that can be set and used in Frontu Chat for technicians:

  1. Start of the day

  2. End of the day

  3. Daily summary

All notifications comes to the application and can be found under "Bell" icon. The number next to it will show how many notifications are not seen yet.

Start of the day

If you want an app users to get notification for the start of the day, select "Yes" and then make sure to edit the text message if needed. You can always use default message that is written automatically.

planned_work_orders - count of planned work orders of the day

planned_time_hours - calculated hours of planned work orders of the day

We take statistics gathered from data records in the past 24 hours. The message is sent for those app users that were online yesterday or today.

End of the day

If you want an app users to get notification for the end of the day, select "Yes" and then make sure to edit the text message if needed. You can always use default message that is written automatically.

We take the end of the day time from time declared in the Calendar settings and we sent the message on that hour.

Have in mind that the message is only sent to those users that have work orders in progress.

Daily summary

If you want an app users to get notification for the end of the day, select "Yes" and then make sure to edit the text message if needed. You can always use default message that is written automatically.

%closed_work_orders% - count of ended work orders of the day

%hours_spent% - time spent when a work order was in progress, counted in hours (despite the current status of the work order)

%route_distance_sum% - sum of all route history distances of the day in kilometers.

Message is sent for those app users that were online during the day.
