Frontu activity report

The Frontu activity report is an email summary of what happened in your account over a chosen period — weekly or monthly. Managers get a company-wide report. Technicians get a report about their own work.

How to set up the report

  1. Go to Settings > Internal notifications.

  2. Find the Frontu activity report section.

  3. Set Send to staff to Yes if you want technicians to receive their own report. It goes to the email address saved on their user account.

  4. Set Send to managers to Yes if you want a company-wide report.

  5. Enter the addresses in the Managers emails field.

  6. Choose how often each report is sent in the Frequency fields — weekly or monthly.

  7. Save the settings.

Have in mind that a technician only receives a report if their user account has a valid email address.

Which period the report covers

A weekly report covers the full week up to and including the day it is sent. The selection is "Every Sunday"

A monthly report covers the full calendar month. The selection is "The last day of every month"

How to preview the report

You do not have to wait for the next send to see how the report looks. On the same settings page you can open a preview in your browser. It shows exactly what the email will contain.

  1. Go to Settings > Internal notifications.

  2. In the Frontu activity report section, click the preview button next to Managers emails or to Technician selection to open the report.

  3. To see a single technician's report, pick the person from the user list and click the preview button next to it.

  4. The report opens in a new browser tab with real data from your account.

Use the preview before turning the report on for your whole team. It is the quickest way to check that the numbers look right and that the report is useful for your technicians.

What the report shows

The report opens the main numbers for the period, such as new and completed work orders, time spent, distance travelled, rating and revenue. Under each number you see a change chip comparing the period with the previous one. Green means the number went up, red means it went down.

  • Top customers — which clients took the most work.

  • Work order types — how the work was split by type.

  • Employees — a leaderboard of your team for the period.

Each table shows the rank, the name, the share in percent and the count.

Everything is built into the email itself, so it displays correctly even when your email program blocks images, and no customer data is sent to an outside image service.

If someone does not receive the report

Check the following:

  • The relevant Send to staff or Send to managers setting is set to Yes.

  • The user account has a correct email address, or the address is listed in Managers emails.

  • The email did not land in spam.
