In general settings page you can change system settings, App settings, client request and reports settings

System Settings

In this section you can manage these settings:

  • time zone - time provided for creation of a work order depends on the selected time zone;

  • date and time format - choose the most convenient format to you;

  • VAT (%) - VAT rate applicable in your country. It will be used to calculate the price of work and materials;

You can select VAT calculation logic method. Dropdown list will show two options: by each item, by sum of items.

By each item selection will calculate VAT for each entry separately.

By sum of items will calculate VAT by summing all the lines and then adding the VAT.

  • currency - currency of work and materials used in PDF reports;

  • distance units - kilometers or miles;

  • price per distance unit - enter the price for one distance unit based on which route cost will be calculated;

  • “Show full text in table cells” - if you tick this field, all data tables will be extended to show the length of the text.;

  • "Hide archived data in filters" - if you tick this field, you will not be able to see any archived data in the filters.

  • "Show work order delay status" - if you tick this field, in web app for administrator will be displayed status "Overdue" when the work order is considered overdue.

  • Customer's/Object's/Materials uniqueness - please select data type to check new entries and avoid duplicates.

App settings

In this section you can manage these settings:

  • Reminder sending hour about Work order - hour an employee will be sent a notification reminding of a work order;

  • "Work orders keeping period in App" - how many days an employee will be able to see his completed work orders in the App;

  • "The work order is considered overdue" - if the scheduled start or end time of the work order runs out, “Overdue” label is displayed by the current work order status;

  • "Automatic work order confirmation in the app" - will the employee be asked to approve new work orders;

  • "Allow multiple work orders at a time" - to allow one select (option “No”) or more (option “Yes”);

  • "Responsible persons visible in the App for a work order":

    • only assigned to the object;

    • when the responsible person is not assigned to the object, show customer responsible persons;

    • always show all responsible persons (object + client);

  • "Allow to edit employee assigned to the job" - permission for the work order main employee to change the assigned user to the job created;

  • "Show unassigned work orders filter" - when the setting is On, work orders filter "Unassigned" will appear in the app, where each employee will see a list of unassigned work orders.

Note: if you would like work orders to appear in the "Unassigned" list make sure work order type setting is set with checkbox "Show in unassigned work orders list" - all work orders with such setting will be visible to employees. If available, they will be able to assign themselves a work order from the list (when Online);

  • "Require job description"- a general setting applies to standard and non-standard (those that an employee enters manually) jobs, but you can indicate different description requirement near each standard job to be filled in the app though job settings.

  • "Require material description"- a general setting applies to standard and non-standard (those that an employee enters manually) materials, but you can indicate different description requirement near each standard material to be filled in the app though material settings.

  • “Default remarks visibility” - select show or hide for remarks to be displayed automatically.

  • “Create jobs only for helpers” - select “yes” or “no”. If “yes” is selected, jobs are only created for helpers. If “no” was selected, each job is created for helper as well as assigned main App user.

Report settings

The selected formats indicate how the data in the reports table will be displayed.

Remember to click SAVE button below to save any changes you have made in the settings.
