Related work orders add-on improvement: possibility to skip signature for related work orders

If you use related work orders add-on and a work order has a parent work order, the application allows technicians to skip the signature signing step.

Users will have the option to:

  • Collect the customer's signature on the spot,

  • Request the customer's signature remotely, or

  • Complete the related work order without requiring a signature even if a signature is required for the type of work order.

The signature will only remain required for parent work order and it will stay on the PDF report.

Credit status implementation in the application

There is already the ability to create and assign credit statuses to your customers within our platform. However, this feature used to work fully only from administrator side. From now on, you can explore full credit status functionality from the application too.

When using credit status feature in the application, the logic will work the same as in the web platform. It means that if user tries to create the work order for blocked customer and if the credit status has the checkbox for notification marked, user will see a notification.

It will not block him for creating a new work order but will notify about the credit status. The user will decide to confirm the creation or abort it.

Max AI

By integrating Max AI into your field service operations, you can expect increased efficiency, improved communication, and quicker access to essential information, ultimately enhancing overall productivity.

SSO add-on

SSO (Single Sign-On) is one more new feature in Frontu that allows the users to log in quickly and securely using their Google or Microsoft accounts. This eliminates the need for multiple passwords, streamlining access while enhancing security and convenience.

When Frontu log in screen is open, option for Google and Microsoft sign in will be available for both environments: web and mobile app.

In this case you will not need to enter email and password but directly click on the "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Microsoft" buttons.

Possible Google accounts will be displayed. When selecting one of the options, if the email matches the one that was assigned to technician or administrator/user/customer, he will be logged in successfully.

The feature is not publicly available and should be turned on so if you would like to try it, just let us know!

Pivot and Productivity report

The new Pivot feature in Frontu brings unparalleled flexibility to your reporting process. No more rigid templates—Pivot puts you in control of your data.

With this powerful tool, you can create fully customized reports by selecting the exact data you need. The selection of the fields is very wide and you can select as many as it is needed to form the report for you.

Moreover, the Pivot has The Co-Pilot feature to assist you. The system will process your request, which may take up to 30 seconds, and provide you with a tailored report.

Productivity report provides the filter for the time period (date). You can add and apply different fields and create custom reporting. The main target is productivity.

Client notifications add-on improvements

If you are already using client notifications add-on, these new improvements will make your life even easier. If you are still not familiar with this functionality, it is your chance to try it!

From now on when sending messages to the customers, you will be able to block specific number, customer or contact person.

Also, we added an option to select when to send feedback to the customer. There are two options: when work order is completed or approved.

Moreover, you can define when SMS should be sent by a work order type. If the checkbox for "Send notification" is marked inside the type, SMS will be sent. If checkbox is not marked, SMS will not be sent.

Guards add-on update and Schedules

Guards add-on was already introduced in Q4. However we made some significant changes there and highly recommend all security companies to test it out!

We implemented schedules that can be selected for the object. They are used for managing shifts between different workers.
