Adding Remarks: Capturing Key Details and Descriptions

Remarks serve as valuable notes or descriptions that can be visible or hidden from the customer, depending on the context. These remarks play a vital role in understanding failures or errors and describing the situation or issue at hand. To add a new remark, simply click the "Add" button within the work order interface, allowing technicians to provide essential details.

Attaching Pictures: Visual Documentation Made Easy

Frontu enables technicians to enhance their remarks with visual documentation. Users have the option to capture pictures in real-time or upload existing images from device files. Once added, remarks with attached pictures are displayed in a list, categorized into two sections: visible to the customer and not visible to the customer. The customer-visible remarks are included in the completed PDF report, ensuring transparent communication. By clicking on a remark's title, technicians can easily edit or remove it as needed.

You can insert up to 100 pictures from the gallery.

Utilizing Drawing Tools: Enhancing Visual Communication

To further enhance visual communication, Frontu offers a drawing tool. By clicking on the pencil icon, technicians can access a dedicated drawing screen. Using their finger or stylus, technicians can draw and mark specific spots that require attention or provide crucial information. This feature is especially useful for highlighting areas of concern or illustrating complex details within the work order.

Editing Remarks and Visual Annotations

Frontu empowers technicians to make revisions and additions to remarks and even draw on the attached pictures. By clicking on a remark, technicians gain access to an editing interface. The interface provides a green zone that offers options to cancel changes, save and add more details, or save the changes made. This user-friendly approach allows for efficient remark editing and ensures accurate and up-to-date information within work orders.

Saving and Deleting Remarks

Technicians must click the "Save" button to preserve their progress while editing remarks or adding visual annotations. It is essential to note that leaving the editing interface without saving will result in the loss of any unsaved changes. Once saved, the added remark becomes immediately visible in the list. To delete a remark, technicians can click on it and utilize the recycle bin icon located in the upper-right corner. It is important to differentiate between the recycle bin icon within the picture, which deletes the attached image, and the icon within the interface, which deletes the entire remark. A confirmation pop-up will appear, allowing technicians to confirm the deletion. Clicking "Cancel" will retain the remark, while clicking "OK" will permanently remove it from the list.
