Chat add-on notifications

Use notifications to inform technician on starting and ending the workday. Get the summary of what was done today.

If you want to try this feature, at first you have to set up the settings correctly. You can find them in the settings, "Chat notifications" part.

There are three different chat notifications that can be set and used in Frontu Chat for technicians:

  1. Start of the day

  2. End of the day

  3. Daily summary

All notifications comes to the application and can be found under "Bell" icon. The number next to it will show how many notifications are not seen yet.

Start of the day

If you want an app users to get notification for the start of the day, select "Yes" and then make sure to edit the text message if needed. You can always use default message that is written automatically.

planned_work_orders - count of planned work orders of the day

planned_time_hours - calculated hours of planned work orders of the day

We take statistics gathered from data records in the past 24 hours. The message is sent for those app users that were online yesterday or today.

End of the day

If you want an app users to get notification for the end of the day, select "Yes" and then make sure to edit the text message if needed. You can always use default message that is written automatically.

We take the end of the day time from time declared in the Calendar settings and we sent the message on that hour.

Have in mind that the message is only sent to those users that have work orders in progress.

Daily summary

If you want an app users to get notification for the end of the day, select "Yes" and then make sure to edit the text message if needed. You can always use default message that is written automatically.

%closed_work_orders% - count of ended work orders of the day

%hours_spent% - time spent when a work order was in progress, counted in hours (despite the current status of the work order)

%route_distance_sum% - sum of all route history distances of the day in kilometers.

Message is sent for those app users that were online during the day.
