Working with Frontu this feature might be very useful because it improves traceability and usability of work orders by aligning filenames and identifiers with a company’s internal naming standards. It makes it easier for users to recognize, reference, search, and filter work orders across the system, reducing confusion, saving time, and improving day-to-day operational efficiency—especially for teams managing a large number of tasks.
To try this feature you must contact Frontu team for internal settings and configuration that would be added by your needs.
When a feature is available make sure you use work order number column and filter to see how the number looks like.
If you will create a work order, its number will be generated automatically by the rules you agreed with Frontu team for usage. You can filter it by entering part of the number as usual.
Here is the example: the first one is with custom numeration and teh second one is Frontu standard work order's number.
One more thing that can be customly made for you company is the name for PDF act.
If you would like to have a custom name when downloading PDF act, you should contact Frontu team for internal settings and configuration that would be added by your needs.
When work order is completed and user downloads it via "Download report" option, you will see a custom naming for downloaded file. Below are some examples.
If for some reason, template is not valid and generation crashes, filename will be created the default way.
