Frontu Billing: How User Licensing Works
At Frontu, our billing system is designed to be simple, transparent, and aligned with how your team actually works. We use a paid seat model that gives Administrator full control over how you assign user access throughout your billing period.

Paid Seats Explained
Your account is billed based on the total number of paid seats, regardless of whether each seat is currently assigned to a user. These seats are yours for the entire billing cycle and can be reassigned freely as your team evolves.
This setup gives you flexibility and helps you manage costs with predictability — no surprise charges when users come and go.
How the Billing Works
Adding Users:
If all paid seats are currently assigned and you add a new user, a new paid seat will be created. You’ll be billed only for the remaining time in your current billing cycle. Your chosen billing frequency stays the same.
Removing Users:
Removing a user from your account frees up a paid seat. That seat remains available to assign to another team member at no extra cost during the current billing cycle. No credits are issued when users are removed.
Reducing Seats Count:
If you have unassigned seats at the end of your billing period, your seat count will automatically be reduced to match the number of assigned users when your plan renews. This ensures you're only billed for what you're actually using.
Stay In Control
Administrator can review and manage team’s paid seats anytime through the account settings. This helps ensure your billing always reflects your team’s real needs.
