Newest Improvements available in Frontu

Better security

We've added something called "2FA authentication" to make Frontu more secure. It's like having an extra lock on your door to keep out unwanted visitors.

To use it, just go to your profile settings on Frontu and check the box that says "2FA authentication." Once you've done that, every time you log in, you'll need to enter a special code that we send to your email.

Make sure your email address is correct and working!

This extra step makes it much harder for anyone to get into your account without your permission. It's an important way to keep your information safe online.

Measurement units for standard jobs

Frontu team used to get feedback from customers that hours and units sometimes might be too abstract when measuring the jobs. So, we made a change!

Now, you can create custom measurement units for standard jobs. It's super simple: just give your new unit a name. Once you've created it, you'll see it listed and ready to use both in the admin platform and the app.

This means you can track things like kilometers, hectares, square meters, or any other measurement provided withing your service.

Enhancement for Questionnaires

Possibility to add a questionnaire to the work order.

Our system assigns questionnaires automatically based on work order's type. We heard about situations where specific questionnaires should be filled as additional ones.

From now on you can add the questionnaires manually to the work order. You will be able to see all published and required questionnaires in the “Questionnaire list” field. The list entries do not depend on the selected type: all published forms are visible

The questionnaire list field can be added to the new works order creation pop-up window by clicking on the settings icon visible in the image above.

Multiselect is allowed, so you can add multiple questionnaires from the list.

The application user will be able to see all questionnaires that belongs to the selected work order's type together with the questionnaires that were added to the work order directly.

Possibility not to show specific questionnaires in the act of acceptance

Sometimes, technicians need to jot down important stuff just for your company's eyes. So, we added a feature where you can choose if the questionnaire should be visible to the customer or kept internal.

Here's how it works: if you don't tick the checkbox to make it visible, the questionnaire and its answers won't show up in the PDF report. Simple, right?

So, If you want to show an internal checklist to boost service quality or seize an upselling opportunity, you can do that using questionnaires too.

Warning message to prevent creating work orders with specific credit status

We've tweaked a few things in our system to make credit status functionality even better! Now, you can create work orders for customers even if they're blocked. But wait, there's a twist!

When you select a customer with a specific credit status that triggers a warning for work order creation, you can still go ahead and click the submit button. However, before the work order is saved, a pop-up message will appear, reminding you that the customer is blocked.

If you still want to go ahead and create the work order, just hit submit one more time. So, it's like a little safety net to make sure everything's double-checked before you finalize the creation making sure your services will be paid.
